HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THAT GUY WITH THE CHINBALLS FELL ON TOP OF THEM ALL LOL.

But yeah, it's amazing. I fucking loved it, just as good as the other LOTR imo. Such good fight scenes and all.

Also yeah that boss troll is fucking BOSS!

As a hardcore lotr/middle-earth nerd I have to say I was very annoyed at some points. Non the less it was a good movie but It could have been better.

    Re: THE HOBBIT

Saw it about 10 days ago. It was incredible. The scale of the production is just, so, amazing. Visually it was beautiful, pretty much all of the characters were solid, acting isn't worth even talking about, and yeah.

I wasn't particularly taken by the baddy-orc. He didn't appear to be the baddy-leader because he was smart or anything, he was just their because he was a bit extra-baddy. A bit empty as a character I felt.

Smeagol was absolutely fucking brilliant. Hobbitsez? Is it cruuunchyyyyyy?

Only other crit is there was a line in the elf-kingdom by one of the dwarves, when they were eating, and it went something like "yeah! Where are the chips?!" and it struck me as really out of place. I doubt that was in the book.

Busting for the next one already.

I think that line was for the kiwis because I sure as hell laughed at it.... in an Australian cinema.

Alot of stuff in the movie is either only mentioned in passing or implied in the book in this movie. Regardless of its closeness to the book, it was a brilliant film.

I loved this movie. I can't believe how epic it was. I haven't seen TLOTR but this was amazing.

    Re: THE HOBBIT

OH DUDE THE HOBBIT WAS FUCKING INDESHITDECRIBABLY AMAZING!!! I went to the Midnight 3D Premiere with my sister and her friend, and DAMN!!! You really have to see it in 3D for full effect, Peter Jackson is a fucking miracle worker o__o

I'm so glad that they are making this into three films. I know some critics complained about the slow pacing, butt fuck 'em. Even though some details with misplaced, he managed capture the atmosphere of the book perfectly. Besides, three films means three times the amount of kick-ass bad-assery. I loved everything about The Hobbit and can't wait for more.

BTW; The design for that underground dwarf city in the beginning portion looked were fucking mad! All those bridges and shit... Just dayum o__o

    Re: THE HOBBIT

Saw the midnight premier a couple weeks ago. I don't usually stay up that late and honestly I was pretty exhausted, had to keep myself from falling asleep around the second half onward.

This was actually the first Lord of the Rings film I've seen so I didn't really have any hype for it.
I feel like it'd be more fair to watch it again under better circumstances because I was quite bored :/
