Rap/Hip Hop Thread (New School and Old School)

I've recently learned that a lot of people on this forum appreciate rap and hip hop. I love the old school, with some very very rare new school songs. I love freestyles the most, here are three that I love:

    [youtube:1v7eq0j6]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwyOfqbP8JU[/youtube:1v7eq0j6]
Yes two are Eminem, he is a fucking genius. All the stuff in this (besides the hook) is all freestyle, meaning it is made up on the spot. I love that.

I love Wu Tang, but Westwood gave them the worst beats for their style. Only until the end did they get to their best. I love how they can get so fucking high and still pull out all that lyricism and flow.

My favorite rapper is Immortal Technique, he's truly brilliant, and judging from the way you wrote in the freestyle thread I think you find him quite good as well.
His best song (not my favorite) is Caught in a Hustle, it's just amazing, awe inspiring really.

Of course what's a rap thread without Cypress Hill.

I also really like Eminem, my favorite song of his is The Way I Am.

Those are really the only rappers I listen too, I'll occasionally listen to some Eazy-e and some Wu-tang clan, but for the most part it's just these guys.

Tech was my favourite for a very long time. He has some sick flow and it is amazing the extent of his vocabulary.

The way he raps truly sounds like it has emotion behind, almost like punk version of rap.

And his political views are just fantastic, I agree with so much of what he says.

Yeah, as do I, though I don't believe in the Illuminate or the new world order so at times it can feel a little weird listening to it. Like talking to your friend for a long time and suddenly he brings up how he knows guys who've seen aliens. But I do love socialism, and despite the numerous conspiracy theories in it, Rich Man's World is still one of his best songs.

Not a big fan of either genres, but I do have some people I occasionally listen to.
Eminem has always been a great 'idol' of mine. He's on of the first artists I ever owned a CD of.
Dr Dre is one I quite like, he's got that old school style which I dig.
MC Hammer, because he used to be fucking awesome.
    Lushlife, because DarkDemon.
Ken Ashcorp, one of my favorite artists who manages to mix rap and pop with a chipped-tune beat perfectly. One of my favorite, if not my favorite, musicians.

I don't listen to a whole lot of hip hop or rap, but there are a couple of artists that I really enjoy.

One of the artists that I've been listening to lately is Jurassic 5. I really like the way their lyrics flow and how they alternate between a number of different rappers.

I used to really like Eminem, but I can't stand him now...

Rap I listen to now would be Bliss N Eso, Immortal Technique, DZK, A Tribe Called Quest, Tipper and Epcot (on Tip Hop), Aesop Rock, OFWGKTA and Tyler, and...

God I can't stand Tyler the Creator. I hate how they say swag. Just look at this video:
    [youtube:3dcfq3jq]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIyAkBbxtgk[/youtube:3dcfq3jq]
"Creator the Tyler it's hey. Westwood Tim listening you are. Hahahaha swag" Probably the stupidest fucking shit I've ever heard. And I can't believe they associate him with Wu-Tang.
