    Live Concerts

Let's chat about live concerts because they're badass. How many concerts have you been to? Planning on going to any concerts soon? What artists have you seen live? Have any kickass stories from the mosh pit? Got pictures?

I've been to three different concerts, all of which were immensely entertaining in my opinion.

    Concert 1:
    As I Lay Dying
    Winds of Plague
    After the Burial

First concert I ever attended. I met Winds of Plague's vocalist, really neat guy. I also got his autograph on a promotional poster they gave me.

    Concert 2
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Three Days Grace
    Bullet for my Valentine

    Concert 3
    Five Finger Death Punch
    Trivium
    In This Moment

Certainly my favorite of the concerts I've been to. I'd never listened to In This Moment before and I was pleasantly surprised when they performed. 5FDP was great. Ivan threatened to walk off the stage several times because the crowd was getting rowdy and people were getting hurt. They eventually began throwing people out for crowd surfing, which pissed my brother off because he got escorted out of the building for it.

Also, I got a picture with In This Moment's guitarist.

    Re: Live Concerts

I've never been to a concert before for the reasons that my parent hate my music, and they are unwilling to drive to places where the concerts actually are. When I get my license though, I plan on going to a few concerts. I really wanna go to an Asking Alexandria, or Periphery concert.

There aren't too many big names that come to NZ often. But as soon as Hollywood Undead come to Australia or New Zealand I'm going to that concert no matter what. Especially because HU usually frontline for A7X or BVB, so that is good.

Ah, Periphery is great, I would love to see them in concert.

And right now some friends and I are planning on seeing the "Don't Pray for Me" tour in mid-April which will consist of Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel, Chimaira, I Killed the Prom Queen and Motionless in White.

Well, I've been to countless classical concerts and operas. Other than that, I've only been to a Death Grips concert. I'm going to see Mount Eerie in May though, and I'm hyped as fuck.

    Dis nigga.

Thy Art is Murder, Coheed & Cambria and Black Sabbath are all coming up and you should be able to catch them. Thy art is in three days though so maybe not. Nas/2chainz/Joey Bada$$ and a$ap are also coming but judging by your post you're not into that.

Anyway, aside from local hardcore gigs and stuff i've seen parkway drive/the devil wears prada/the ghost inside, whitechapel/trivium, AC/DC (hahahaha) and of mice & men. all shows were great.

If given the chance, I would go to an Of Mice & Men or the Ghost Inside concert in a heartbeat.

    Re: Live Concerts

I've only been to a Jack White (Vocalist/Guitarist of White Stripes) concert so far, but I'm going to see Pierce the Veil, Enter Shikari, Bring Me the Horizon and The Lumineers this year.
