    5-D Memory Disc which can store 360 TB

    Five-dimensional glass memory can store 360TB per disc, rugged enough to outlive the human race | ExtremeTech

    I think it's rather interesting that this could be the future and the next step in technology.
    What do you guys think about his?

    I think it means us animators need to step it up and move on from 3D. Everyone knows 5D is the new 3D.

    I remember reading an article a while back from an ex Microsoft employee saying they have stuff made that's about 10 years ahead of our current tech; but they wait to release it for the same reasons the iPod kept on getting better. They want more money, and everyone wants the new thing.

    Apparently hovercrafts are making loads of progress... But I want a hoverboard badly. It's not long until it's 2015 so they better get their asses into gear.

    @Slashed: That makes sense.
