They are pretty nicely designed. The first one looks pretty good, just there's not much detail to the background. The problem I do see with both of them is that you seemed to blend the background with the render oddly so it seems as if they were coming out of fog.
But nice job overall, keep practicing.

I really like the first one, They need work tho. Really good. I dont like how simple they are. But other wise pretty great. So all you need to work on is text [if u have any] and diffrent styles.

    Art courtesy?

It does look like therte coming out of fog D:/ lolzand the backgrounds are very simple, use brushes to make backgrounds shecksay .

    Text is blended okay though
I don't really like the outcomes so far but keep working on them, also I was thinking about using that Kratos render XD.

I really do think your good at blending the render and matching the colors of the sig. I like the first one best though. Maybe its just the render.

Argh, that smudging looks horribly obvious. >.< Use multiple distprted layers of smudging, and try using different brushes/brush settings when smudging, instead of just the default thing all over the place. Set the scattering and rotation majiggers fairly high and you've got teh awesome smudge thingeh.
