    Hey d00d. Not bad for firsts. You are using brushes though. To improve dont use brushes. On my sigs i only use brushes for lighting. Read some tutorials. Sephy has some good ones.
    Why thay ae not great:
    Well basically everything, which is expected for firsts. They seem pixally, They are too bright and too dark and you used a too detailed render for your second sig.
    Try using some anime renders, they are good for starting with.

    But yeah read some tuts and you will get better.

    Art courtesy please!

    Like Fraz said, they're not bad for firsts. It's just that the photoshop one was not blended enough (Render and backround I mean) sho it didn't flow very well. The gimp one was great for a first though, but it was a little too simple, I like it none-the-less =D. So just read some of the tutorials, and you;ll get better... good job.

    Art Courtesy?

    Border=yes
    Text=yes
    colour=yes.

    If you followed the tutorial i can hardly lecture you about depth ect, as there was none. Remember that blurring helps depth and lighting.

    Hey, nice stuff. The sprite one is pretty darn nice. Not that crazy about the new one though :/ Theres too much empty space in it, just the render, a little smudging, and text. But your others are pretty good.

    Simon: And C4D renders =]
