I zombified a picture of myself, quite like it.

Hey guys, i don't usually post art stuff so i apologise if i am posting this in the wrong section. All it is, is some blood and gore added to a picture of me, it's my first time using photoshop but i am pretty proud of it.

That picture freaked me out a little at first, the blood is a little too light. Fix it.

Looks kind of lots of red brush strokes everywhere.

    Haha that was wierd.
I agree with blood being too light, and it looking like brush strokes, but I still like it.

I would just focus on making it look more realistic or less realistic. This image is right in-between. If you were to apply some filters and darken certain areas up and stuff, you could make it look less realistic and people wouldn't care how the blood looks.

I know that sounds confusing, but if you think about it, it's true. Since it's a real picture of you, on a real background, people expect the blood and stuff to look real. But it doesn't, it stands out like a sore thumb.

So you could either try making it more realistic to match the images, which would be really difficult. Or you could make everything less realistic to match up with the stuff you painted.

    Make sense?
