    Welcome back! Hey, that animation isn't to shabby, Movment's are alright but it seem's a bit choppy, but hey, good for the massive break you took I guess. Check some tutorial's and then you'll be inter.

    u need to work on A LOT of stuff for example...easing, movements, walking, fighting, stiffness( making stks not stiff when moving them ), and a bunch of other things....u'll get better though, just look at soem tuts like bahamuts and u'll get better )

    im sure you'll get better, you just need to work on spacing and easing.. remember this formula:

    Spacing + Easing + Time spent on animations = smooooooth animation

    you got the moves right, but you have to unstiff them. MUCH!.
    Try easeing (omg here i go again)

    ( | = movement... - = how much space)

    Bad easeing: |---|---|---|---|---|---|
    Good easeing: |-|--|---|----|---|--|-|
