ur animations are good. needs to kink out the stiffness. work on easing, stiffness and physics and all the basics.

Cool animations! Just work on easing and look at some tuts and you'll be set. ;D

Okay... Let me help you out here, since you asked. Below, is a list of things requiring improvement.

    • 1. Actually animating. I'm sorry, but your "wii" animation was extremely boring, because in pivot, unless you actually sync in voices, it is extremely long and pointless. I'll give you this -
Bert's tutorial on giving animations detail and quality[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • 2. Stiffness. The #1 enemy of beginners. You want to move every joint in every frame, without making it choppy. This means you'll have to ease (next point will explain this) your movements as well. What I suggest is Fraz's stiffness tutorial (in-thread).[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • 3. Easing. This is the method that you must start a moving slow, and gradually get faster, until you are about the stop, where you slow down again. Of course though, there are exceptions, you can find help with the following quote -

What to do: To make your animations more realistic you need to first think what it would look like in the real world, and then put into pivot. If it doesn't look good it means you either make it to fast or slow. If it's choppy, add more easing. If it's stiff add more movement in the animation. Remember that for fast movements it's better to use heavy spacing and for slow motions use slow, smooth movements. A great example is FD and Wojak, their style is realism.
I also give you Fraz's ball physics tut (in-thread) and Fraz's man physics tut (in-thread).[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • 4. Your kick. Simply, it just wasn't a well executed kick. I just suggest you look through the following tutorials for different kicks. [list:1hlf46jr]
    • Baha's ultimate tutorial (scroll down to see the kicks)[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • Kodinote's punching / kicking tutorial has several kicks included[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • My tutorial on wereZ's 3D kick[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
    • Fraz's kick tutorial[/*:m:1hlf46jr]
[/*:m:1hlf46jr][*]5. Physics. This is basically a complete sense of realism, but I am going to concentrate on gravity (as most do). Observe how an object reacts when it hits the ground and try to implement that into animation. For following tutorials will help with this.[/*:m:1hlf46jr][*]6. Walking. In your mouse attack animation and your wii animation, there were walks, that were both poorly executed. I suggest the next few tutorials on how to make a proper walk.
Also, put in mind, that If a foot is planted on the ground, it won't slide across the ground. You want it to stay pivoted until the alternate foot is down, when you then raise and move that foot.[/*:m:1hlf46jr][/list:u:1hlf46jr]

Good luck! I hope this helped.

They're not bad .Try focusing less on effects and more on the basics first .most people will probably tell you that.

    good luck
