    Smore's thread

This is the first time I've ever even thought about animating. I made two quick tests using Fraz's amazing tutorials.

    Run test

    Stick throw

    Flip

    OMFG You animated. :O
Not bad. They're pretty jerky, but very good for your first few. Just work on easing, and fix some stiffness I saw. Good job.

Pretty good, considering you just started.
And that you use tuts directly...

Well, try animating things like punches, kicks, fights, etc.

try making a few tests by yourself, to see how you do.

    Pretty good, though.

Wow I thought you were one of those people who stopped animating. xD. I find it strange that your so active on a animating forum, when you don't animate that much. :P
    Anyways, on to the criticism!
For the running, the orange dot should have up or down a little depending on if the stick is at the high point of his run or the landing point.
Also, try not to move joints randomly, because the legs were very shaky in the 2nd one.
    Hope you keep animating.

Those are pretty damn cool, the running guy's origin point didn't move, that doesn't look very good. Great physics on the stick throw, and nice flip! Make some longer anims, to clinch the high-beg rank!

    Nice Job!

Overall Nice Job! Really impressive for a beginner! A little choppy at times, but good job overall!

    Thnx,
