    Wish's Animations [NEW: JUMP]

Welcome to my redone thread! Please give constroctive criticism (No crap like 'Oh that was good high beginner, courtisey?' or 'Wow that sucked, too choppy, low') and rate my animations in the poll.

I don't have any lengthy animations, I've just been testing until I think I'm ready.

    Animations from Newest to Oldest:

    Running Test [Download Piv]

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/Run.piv
Comments: READ THIS: It got so GIF raped it looks like a first animation... Please download the piv AND set the framerate to about 20. I liked it, my first successfull running test, but kinda choppy.

    Jump:

Comments: I followed Pheonix's tut for this, I must say, it was very helpful.

    Blob:

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/805Blob.piv
Comments: I liked the turnout, but I know it could be better, althourh I put 2 hours and alot of effort into it.

    Double Punch

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/DoublePunch.piv
Comments: It was alright, my first un-failed punch attempt.

    Stick Physics

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/BouncyStick.piv
Comments: Ugh... Stiff choppy, I don't know what else, but I liked the physics part.

    Noob Physics

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/NoobPhysics.piv
Comments: What? i got bored >_>

    Rope Physics

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/PhysicsTest.piv
Comments: Eh, not very good, but I put alot of effort into it.

    Easing Test

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/Easing.piv
Comments: I followed Baha's tut for this, the turnout was alright.

    Walking Test

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/walking.piv
Comments: Kinda bad, but my best walking test.

    Ball Physics

    Piv: http://www.filepact.com/files/gravityangletest.piv
Comments: I'm pleased with it, but it's not my best animation

You need a lot of work, Try reading some Tutorials, most likeley Baha's and work on stiffness and choppiness, try moving every joint in every frame to ultimately remove stiffness Tutorials worth seeing, Baha's Tutorial, and Fraz and Nev's tutorial list! Others are worth seeing but those are really good for beginners to learn a lot off of. Good Luck animating

yeah... you have a lot of work to do... you need to read some tutorials on easing, smoothing, your animations are too fast also, try to add more frames, and dont for get to try to move the most joints you can in each frame... so that it looks more smoothed out... hope you get better! keep up the working and i bet you will!

    btw, courtesy?!

Alright, I'll try to add more frames.

But yeah, I noticed they're kinda stiff.

I know pivot too, but trust me, they look alot better when you just watch it from the main source, which is IMPOSSIBLE. I don't think I'm good, i just think that my anims got messed up when they were uploaded to Youtube!
