Way too stiff on every joint. You should move the arms when he runs.

When his arms are in the middle of his 2-dimensional body, they go like they are walking. So the go straighter. When they reach the furthest point, they crouch in. Don't forget the arm going behind you is meant to put enough force to throw your body a little bit further.

His legs need to absorb shock and throw his weight. Meaning when they hit the ground the absorb a lot. Then when he takes off they go straight. Also try and move his back more.

Alright. Major bump. I haven't animated in a while, but I made something the other day.

A big improvement, but still a little stiff. Just try to move every joint in every frame.
Also, you should use just a bit more easing.
Overall, though, great improvements, keep it up!

    11/25/07 UPDATE! (removed. starting over)

Yeah, they're kinda out of sync, eventually. I don't know why. They're both 24 frames.

I actually find them really good. If only you could sync them better. Nice job. The arms did seem a tad unrealistic though, and when the body was falling he was bent differently then he should have been. It still looks nice, I'm just nit-picky.

    umm

it was fairly smooth but the joints were way to stiff and it made it look bad plus the falling one looked way too fast but good try =D

ALRIGHT! I made a new animation after I stopped using Pivot for a while. I think I improved a ton, and used all of your guys' comments to my advantage! So please comment. I'm trying to remake the poll, but I don't know how, so just ignore that for a while or vote if you'd like!

Stiff. Remember to always apply easing. I suggest you to read tutorials. Low-med beginner.
