Mathijs's Pivot Vault

[center:1tlccp3z][/center:1tlccp3z]

Welcome to my thread!
As you can see, thereís a very easy to use structure here, with my newest anims at the top in the Showcase and a list of my old ones can be found in the Archive when scrolling down.
The list at the bottom is ranked chronologically, so the eldest one are at the top and the newer ones at the bottom.
To avoid exploding computers etc., there wonít be more than 4 animations running at the same time, being the ones that are featured in the Showcase.
At the end of my Vault, you will find the Warehouse, where all the .stkís I made or modified can be found.
Youíre free to use them, as long as you give credit.
Enjoy and comment please, courtesy will be returned !
Mathijs

You seem to be concentrating more getting it smooth, you should try and sort out the stiffness to. Get some good sticks, (They are the V2 default ones aren't they?)

Stick at it and you shall improve over time.

The 1st 2 animations were pretty stiff and choppy, but it's nice for a start.
I liked your soccer ani :], it looked kinda smooth. I think you should speed up the framerate though, 7 for Pivot V2.5 and 16 for V3.

I recommend that you should take a look at Baha's Ultimate Tutorial or Fraz & Nev's Mini Tutorials. They teach almost everything, from the basics to cool effects. They should help you plenty.

For now, I think you're low beginner. Just study the basics first, and you'll be set for pivoting :].

Kinda choppy, I'd suggest bumping up the framerate. You could also add a ground that would enable you to do tremor effects. Nice realistic poses in the soccer animation.

By tremor effects I mean:

Something heavy hits the ground and bounces a little. The thing lacks impact.

If you move the ground down and then move it back up to it's original position over 2-4 frames, it actually looks heavy.

IMPACT
Frame 1:Ground moves up fast/Frame 2: moves up normal/Frame 3: Slow/Frame 4: One pixel

Look at Baha's pivot tutorial, it'll explain everything.

Keep it up.
