    I suppose i cant say its too bad since you have only just started, heres what you need to work on...

    Realism - Make sure to move every joint in every frame.. even if just by the tiniest bit.. it helps stop it being so choppy.

    Easing - This is a movement technique that makes your animations look so much better.. basically for every action start it out slow.. speed it up then end it slowly. Its hard to explain I reccomend you visit the tutorial page.. they have examples which explain much better than i do.

    Make it more interesting - I know as a beginner it starts out hard but try and take up new challenges with each animation you do.. and try and make your animations worth watching.

    Tutorials - Go to the tutorials section of the forum, there is some great tutorials there.. especially Bahas mega tutorial.. make sure to check it out.

    Thats all the advice i can be bothered to type mate.. the main thing is:

    Practice, Practice, Practice!

    Good for a first try
    but check out some tuts and the other stuff liek mentioned above.
    and you know you dont walk like that stand up get outta your chair and walk around watch how you move than go back and try to animate it works out fine sometimes
