    My First Animation!

Hello, i just downloaded Pivot recently and i have been playing around with it for a couple of hours and this is what i got. this is my FIRST animation and i would really appreciate if you could give me constructive criticism and mabey some helpful hints, here it is

    http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh17 ... ionpiv.gif

i would also, if you have a chance, to teach me about how to get blood and like a flash or some special effect that could help make this look really good. ( i never made or posted an animation before so have mercy =p) also how do i make it more.... smooth? its really choppy right now and my walking and jumping could use some help. If you could recommend a website or just put some info here that would be GREAT!

Thanks in advance, and i know i'm low low low beginner no need to say it!!

    post away!

    My Review

Well, for your first animation, Tha was briliant, but if you want to make it up in the ranks youll need to work on easing and choppiness alot! i would suggest trying baha's tutorial in the tutorial section, it teaches almost everything a begginer needs to know, i read his tut and i immediatly noticed i was better, i was a low begginer, now im med-high begginer, ood luck in the future and keep at it youll get to inter in no time!

Now ur animation is like u sayd very choppy and all try making movements in more frames and watch the onion skin keep the feet and everything in place.
Well read the tutorial download the pivs from it, study them, and keep practising
    Keep it up

pretty good for ur first. But u still have a lot to work on. I'll list a few things to work on. ur walking, ur smoothness, ur jumping, ur choppiness and ur stiffness.

    gonna give u a tip

when u walk u keep one foot in the same place both ur feet and legs keep moving so he wont walk properly.
hope that works out for you.

P.S. courtesy is replying to someone else his thread in return, its optional so u dont have to but people will appreciate it.
