    Re: Fracture's thread

nice anims there, your really close to interz, if your not already, the newest one was pretty good, except when he was flying because his body stayed completely straight, make little movements of the body, the only thing that didn't make that part look totaly weird was his cape, on the second one the flip was nice, I like the slow movements at the beginning, and then the fast flip, idk if you double spaced or not, well anyways, I thought those were your two best and those are the only ones im posting about, I could easily see you in interz really soon. Keep them coming,
    Rank: Borderline - Low Interz

    Re: Fracture's thread

I had time only to look at your superman ani, and all i can say is lol!

it is great idea wise, and almost animation wise.

the only things you lack in are basic physics, and movements. your stks are too stiff and your physics are too floaty, otherwise your doing fine, med-high beginner, verging more on the med beginner side.

Over time you will see your mistakes tc. etc., but for now, I wil happily point them out for you.

    1. Physic - fall is too slow
    2. movements - move EVERY joint in EVERY frame, otherwise its too stiff
    3. Robotics - Your easing is slightly off, so it looks robotic!

    otherwise, just keep it up!

Liked the Elmo trib, though choked up at the shotgun.
It doesn't look real, well at least i don't think so...
Also work a little more with easing, you'r almost there !
Your run was kinda wierd (!!!!!) in that bone ani... I know you already says so, but...
I'd give you high beg to borderline.

Re: Fracture's thread - elmo trib

Whoa, that elmo trib should have you in intermediates. Nice movements you got there, and AMAZING effect ^^. The shotgun was pretty f*cked up though, and I don't get why he pulled out his sword when he wasn't going to really use it xD.

    For the OB7 thing...

It's really nice; the combo was fantastic. That dust effect was pretty good too. You know, that combo is actually the one with the best similarity to Crono and Julian's style, even though your a beginner (if I'm making any sense xP). The foot placement at the end was a bit off though.

Great work you have there. I think you're already inter there, seeing how smoothly it runs (and you can actually animate with a background O_O). Just make an animation with fluid movements and and just a few...maybe even one original effect. Well, that's how I got inter. Courtesy returned.

Re: Fracture's thread - elmo trib

The elmo tribute was nice. I thought the orb effect was the best part, but using more particles in the effect would of been more like elmo's. The intro was ok, but I didn't like how fast the stick summoned the sword, also the bullets from the shotgun looked spastic.

Re: Fracture's thread - elmo trib

    Elmo:
    Nice Elmo tribute, looks good.
But it was a bit stiff when the guy ran. Also, when he shot the shotgun, the bullets went a little to far a part. The effects were really nice though. Also, there wasn't enough easing in the legs, or the arms.

    Ob7:
Too much like a Julian and Chrono style. But it was really good, very well eased. But if you were trying to make it a julian style, than it was right on.

    overall:
Work on a bit more easing and stiffness.

Re: Fracture's thread - elmo trib

I love the effects hardcore on that elmo trib. Just the beam though. The shotgun is like...U went for more of a magic bullet kind of thing i can see. But they looked too stiff for that. If u made them curve in and out towards him. Then it would look alot better. If that is what u went for :P if u need more help this is what i mean.

u were curving with a stick like this |

    But u should have (|

so it looked more like a seeking bullet or whatever.

Dont worry bout the actual movments. Theyll come soon. And your problem may be ur using sticks that legs are bigger than their body's lol
