Low Begginer, you have good ideas but i think you should look up Bahas tutorial in the tutorial section, exspecially the; easing, effects, and movements sections. this will help you become alot better! Also another thing is PRACTISE! like for half hour a day, it'll improve you dramatically, keep animating, + try to move every joint in every frame

work on mainly stifness and then use easing, physics, etc.

    Low-beginner

You have stiffness and no easing in your aniamtions and the fact that it doesn't look much realistic, your effects are pretty good. But what I would do is work on the movements master it then hopefully get better. I reccomend looking up some tutorials.

    Re: Rippedstar'z thread

Well, you need to work on stiffnes pretty much cuz your stk were a lot stiff! Try to move every red dot (joint) in each frame. After that work on easing. Easing is when you move the body like this |-|--|---|--|-| I mean you beine with slow movements than you speed up and then you slow down again.

    Your animation:
It was pretty stiff and need easing. When the guy got hit by the star the reactions were bad. The spining of the star was wierd cuz he spined in 2 directions. I mean first he spined in 1 direction than he stops and spins in the other direction, work on physics...

you have potential but need pratice

Good anims. I particularly liked the way you animated. the shuriken. Stiffness issues. Easing issues. Typical noob problems. You'll get over them eventually. My best advice would be tutorials. Also, watching other people's animations. That's what I do mostly. To get inspiration. So, like if you're going for med beginner, look at some med beginner animations. But one thing you don't want to do is post in attachments all the time. I PM you about it.

I'd say low bginner for right now. You'll get the hang of it.

Your ideas are top notch, but I'm thinking low beginner. Although I feel like I'm just mimicking everyone else here, Baha's tutorial is a great thing to read. Pretty soon, I'm sure that you'll get much better. Juts practice practice practice.
