[center:1fbmuaqi]Well, I'm here to stay at DarkDemon, so I might as well earn my scars, right? I'm new to Pivot, and I've never animated before, so please, if you whip me with criticism, please do not light the whip on fire.[/center:1fbmuaqi]

Re: Slystah - Beginner At Pivot

Well, everything was fairly smooth, just remember to ease more. The real thing that I think you have to work on is your physics. Like in the kick. Even if you were trying to go for an unrealistic look, it still seemed like the guy just flew right into the air and smacked the other one in the face. There are a couple of good kicking tutorials that you should look at in the tutorial section. The gun one was a lot better in my opinion though. I liked the small amount of kickback that you added, though the blood needed a bit of improvement.

Alright, thanks for your reply! I'll work on the kicking thing lol, I noticed how the guy just slides before he kicks after I put the picture up, but yeah, I'll return courtesy right away!

Re: Slystah - UPDATED - Fail

Alright, thanks everyone, I tried the tutorials but I can't quite get anything down. BTW I put up a new animation called "Fail." so if you want to take a look please do! It's not really much of an improvement over anything, but I did add special effects such as blood and what-not, but yeah I will try to get courtesy back to you guys!

PS - I need to learn walking in Pivot step by step, so if you guys can point out a good tutorial besides Baha's, then please do!

I am VERY sorry for double posting, but this is an important announcement! I CANNOT put more than three animations at a time on my main post, because I am using my PS3 to put everything on the internet! It's a VERY long story and I do not wish to go into it, so please save me the hassel and let it be lol, thanks anyways!

Skype: dont tell us you're sorry, just dont do it.

Ok,the easing, the smoothing and the stiffness.Try to look at some tutorials. You need to work on your easings,it makes the animation more realistic and more smooth. The thing that i liked is the sword trail that was well eased.Try to look at that example and apply it to your next videos.
