Re: here is one of my first animation

You need to ease the movements, and make it more realistic.
At the moment, the figures are just moving in different places, not actually full movements.
Add some effects; but the main thing is to make it more fluid.

Demonkatana, you have great ideas, but you need to move every joint of the stickman in every frame and ease more.

Wicked stiff, and use some kind of background. And... your easing isn't that eased.

    Re: Pivot Demonkatana's thread

In your first animations the beginning of it (the left to right) had OK easing,
The rest was choppy and unrealistic.
easing is like this xx-x--x---x--x-xx (x representing where he is the next frame)
My description is not too good but it still gives a point.
Another thing is that the base stick is always noobish unless used in base vs. base
try creating your own or RARELY use a base of droidz.org
Good ideas though i see a style, keep it up.

stiff and uneased. did you read the tutorials? go to the tutorial section if you don't.

    anyway,
    1. did you move one joint every one frame? if you do, STOP DOING THAT. it will make your animation stiff. so, try to move every joint every frame.

    2. need easing MORE. easing is |-|---|-----|-----|---|-|. or you can read in the tutorial section.

    3. your basic movements (especially walking) is bad.

    4. your effects is great tremor, the souldestroyer used, and whatsoever. the effect of your souldestroyer animation need easing. maybe the like this |-|---|-------
    and gone.

    thats all from me.

Thanks a bunch for the comments (by the way what does base vs. base mean). These are my first tries and I try to get better every day.

Okay, to simplify things for you:

Stiffness: When a stickfigure's movements are robotic-like Credz to Blue Phoenix for this definition.

Easing: Starting out slow, then gradually going faster, then going slower.

Bases: A stickfigure who is not a default but isn't armored, souped up, etc.

Base vs. Base: Two bases facing off.

    Happy?

To stop stiffness, move every joint at least a little in each frame, unless he is supposed to be stationary.
