This is kinda good your on a good start with it just try easing and moving ever joint on the pivot its self and try that. Run a few test with that and then put a new one on ok. Good luck.

very good on your first run. but, does your stickman is jumping? or maybe he use magic to float in the air for a while . if you read the baha's tut, it's said that make a little off from the ground. it was 180 degrees from that. your stickman is floating, or maybe jumping.

The run test was pretty cool. I see you were moving the stick up and down through the anim, I suggest moving the floor up and down instead, as it looks a lot better and more realistic that way. Also to make the animation a lot smoother, try easing the limbs after they cross the body of the stickfigure. That is all, keep up the good work.

    Re: My First Run!

That run was wierd. It was choppy and uneased. Try moving every joint every frame to reduce stiffness. Even if you only need to move the joints a little, it can help the total outcome of an animation. He also moved up a bit too far when he lifted off the ground, and messed it up completely. As for easing, it's like:
Each | is a new frame and each - is a movement.
    |-|--|---|----|---|--|-|
    What you are doing:
    |--|--|--|--|--|--|--|
    Here's an example.
    Good Easing

As for the movements, look at yourself in a mirror doing different movements. You can see how you move and helps you with realistic movements.
Try making some easing test and some basic movements tests, also.
