Re: Darkmatters thread (new ani =D)

    Smooth But a bit fidgety...
in the first ani the body is too stiff in it, the Arm swing when slahing & raising the sword is to sudden & isnt very visual in seeing the arm move. The second one is fine & better, the kick is fine but the landing isnt, the guys in your animations move out of place to make an example, look at the blue guy's legs & feet. they move too much. I can see what you are trying to do. but work on the smoothing within your movements & make sure they are Clean (smooth).
But overall you are alright, (in my own opinion) a low- med beginner. You have the excuse of not animating in a while so yeah... Good luck & Work on that smoothing.

Not bad, nicely eased, but the foot placement needs work and trails for the sword would be nice, nice rustbreaker.

Try working on foot placement and stiffness. Ur getting ok with easing but u could do better. I suggest watching some tuts and adding more effects. Post more anis, i am going to rate u med beg, good job

    Re: Darkmatters thread

Ur plenty smooth. It's just ur animations are a bit skippy.
Just need to work on incorprating the right physics into ur ani's. Or at least use some FX to off-set it.
    Thats wat i do. LOL

Re: Darkmatters thread new animation pwned!

I really like the fact that they are always moving, it gives a lot to the animation.
It's pretty stiff and the feet are shacking, but in general, that's nicely done, great job :]
