Rotten Thread: Update, Ouch! (and Walk, and a preview)

Hi, this is my thread. If you needed me to tell you that, don't comment.

Recently, I've got a lot of comments about how 'fast' and 'un-eased' my animations are. I have a heavy-spaced, cartoony style, deal with it. It is still eased, just fast. Any comments pertaining to this matter will be ignored. Comments on improving my style are welcomed.

    Real criticism hmmm..
    Well you your animations
are very lazy not well put together.
    You really really seiously
    need to work your choppyness.
Dont even get me started on your stiffness.
It looks like you just started.
    But Im guessing you
    animated before .
    Animation isnt really your "thing"
Stick to another hobby of some sort.
    Like drawing.
    All in All
My real criticism is exactly what you asked for
    So don't get mad.
    Its what you wanted.

Holy shit you suck at criticism, look up your terms before you use them >___>

Okay, you need more easing on your newest. It looks pretty lazy, you are good however. I'm just going to leave it at that because there really isn't anything else to improve on right now : O

    OK hai...

For that newest one here is what I had to say.
Easing: Done well, just watch it.
Smoothness: OK here is the deal, you need to work a little more on your smoothness. It is OK but not great.
Flow: Done Pretty well, nothing to criticize.
Foot Placement: I saw the back foot slide up a tiny bit at the end, watch out.
Stiffness: I saw alot in the head and a bit in the arms. Work on it.

All in all I would have to say make a longer animation and I will rank you... ha.

I'm not that good at critisism, but here we go.
Your newest has some quite fast paced movements, so ease a bit, try and incorparate some realism then again, realism sucks.
For example when the stk threw that pole thing the stks arms just kind of eased to a halt too quickly, making his arms look a bit stiff, try and give your animations a bit more of flow.
I'd say other stiff parts were the stk's back, try and move a back joint every frame if possible and the arms when he was throwing the pole, they didn't sem to bend, then again I couldn't see them that well because the animation was a bit fast.
Thats all the critisism I can give I guess.
Anyway your newest is pretty good, just keep practicing not much more advice I can give you.

First of all nice ones. They were kind of stiff and uneased in some places but they are quite original. Add more effects and work on the basics. Everything will come out in the end.
I think ur almost high beg...

The ideas of the anims are nice and original but the anims themselves are slightly stiff and are uneased. They are also choppy but overall they are ok. Not too bad.

I like your style, it's fun to watch. The only thing that pokes my ribs is how short they are. A lengthy animation by you would be killer. I hope to see one soon! Keep it up! ^_^

You need to work more on your easing and physics, and your animations are all really fast so its leaving me like, " ZOMG WTF BE GOING TEH HELL ON?!!11" but that's just me, if you like faster more freestyle animating then try out the freestyle hall, but if you like it here then stay. Low-med Beginner, just keep practicing and you will be high beginner in no time at all!

    Courtz??
