    Re: Tanks Thread

    TANK!
That is code for your name.

    To correctly judge your animations:

    The Featured Animation:
Looks cool. The style of it is a lot better than the other styles.
I like the tied up part, possibly a story line out of it?
The rock falling and hitting his head shouldn't of made his head bounce like that, it also shouldn't of had that many bounces on the ground. Physics were way off on that animation.

I already commented the other animation.

    Favorite Animation:
Was pretty good, but it was WAY too slow.
You worked on easing in this animation, I saw Your physics weren't BAD but they also could have used some work.
Your sticks were pretty stiff in this too, and when your last stick figure in the animation was lying on the ground, he slid around just a little bit, which made it look odd.

    Meh..:
I like this one a lot more than I liked your favorite animation, it was random, and looked kinda cartooney, which I like. When the blue ball hit the ground, the tremor was HUGE in comparison to the weight.
Physics in this animation were not that good at all. Like I said, when the blue ball hit the ground, it fell so slow and the tremors were so big, I cannot understand.

    SUPER PAWNCH:
The punch it self was good, and the physics were pretty understandable, but both of their feet slid around way too much, like the floor was moving under-neath them, didn't look so good.
Also, the stick figures were VERY stiff during this animation, might want to fix that.

    Punch Loop:

It was an okay punch, his legs, to me, were spread much to far apart for a punch. The punch didn't seem like it had much power to it, but the tremors were very powerful.

    Random Test:

This random test had good effects, but his arm in the beginning was not properly on the arm underneath it, so it made it looks poopy

    Grav Box kills thin man:
Not much to say on this one, did not particulary care for it

Overall, work on Choppiness, Easing, Physics and stiffness for sure. I see those elements missing in all your animations.

    Medium-Beginner.

At this moment you should train and read some tutorials .
you have creativity but you need to impruve your easing and phisics in your animations ok?

hey dude. those arnt bad animations for a person whos been animating for 2 months i like how your starting to use trails and bgs. but what i saw was that u didnt have basic movements down. try to get your walk down in tests before you try to incorperate it in an animation. also there is alot off stiffness. try to move every joint in every single frame. even if its a little bit it will still help eliminate stiffness. but i like how you used effects tho. good job. watch some tutorials on basic movements easing and all that. but not bad man. keep up the work

    Re: Tanks Thread-|U|P|D|A|T|E|-Run Loop

The run looked pretty wierd. I think it's probebly because the origin doesn't move. It is also very un eased, you have to remember to use big gaps in the movements and then use smaller gaps...
You might of already seen this before but here you go...

Notice the distance between the frames. Starts small, then as the frames go on, the distance increases and then decreases.

Stick at it though and great things will happen.

i like how you are using things like camera movement and trails already, but you really should work on movements. you pretty much have punching down, but running is kind of weird. i think you are compensating for the lack of good basic movements with tremors and trails and all that. you can only get so good if you dont work on basic movements. do some tests before continuing this Rutherford series and learn how to animate a 4-legged animal walking. right now you just have him jumping all over the place. your animations will look a million times better when you put good movements in with the detailed backgrounds, effects, etc you have now.

    Amazing work Tank.

I love the newest one, I cannot really say many bad things because I loved it.

This animation reminds me of Leanh287's animation Kung-Fu Horse.

I love the style of the animation and it is very original, I love the idea, and the concept and the cartooney aspect.
