    Shiku's stuffses (Update 8/3/09)

Hey. These are my first animation(s) in about 2 years so I'm rusty. Tell me what you think and constructive critesism is greatly appreciated thank you

    Random Test

somethings wrong with the flip. i know. Bullet in beginning is a slowmo thing i wanted to try.

    Jumping Kick Test

Will post more later (and if you can tell me how to save a gif properly, much appreciated)

Credits to Droidz and everyone who contributes to Droidz. I've been gone awhile but what happened to all the sticks? There used to be a lot more.

Movements aren't too bad and the tremor was a nice touch. For first animation in 2 years it wasn't too bad, raise the frame rate though and try to work on easing and general flow. Good job, keep at it.

first of all thanks for commenting. Saw some of your stuff and its awesome second. If i raise the frame rate, would i add more of motion? And what in general could i do to make it smoother and flow more easily?

Very good for having a break for two years, but you need to focus on stiffness and easing. Just make sure to move every joint in every frame, also, don't forget to follow the onion skin, the arm on the stickman that was sticking out was extremely shaky, be sure to keep from doing that. Getting your physics down will come in time, just keep working at it!

You're doing good, keep it up!

The bullet and the blood were fine.

The guy that fell looked stiff.
Work on following the onion skin. Legs were shaky on the guy falling.
Fall didn't look like a fall, more like gently laying down.
The flip was stiff and didn't look natural.
Work on the physics in your animations. You'll get better.
    Possibly a low-med beginner.

Personally i think the fall looked fine but okay. And yes i know the flip sucked XD since it was a random effect thing i wanted to make the jumping guy explode before it started sucking but i couldnt find a good enough pack >.> Thanks faggot (that feels awkward just typing that XD). I appreciate it.

For two years of rust, you don't suck that much. The bullet wasn't slow mo. Well it was, but I think a better method for that would be double framing. The stickman was a bit stiff when hit, but the bullet 3d was pretty good never-the-less. I'd say medium beginner. Courtz?
