    Re: Robeto's Thread for Awesomes

Very nice animation, is this your first?

The foot placement is great *check*
    easing... *check*
    Not shakey or stiff... *check*
    Effects... *does not check off*
    Power... *does not check off*

    hmmm...
According to my calculations... you should add some effects and power to your animations.

Also, make sure you credit people if you use their stick... I think I've seen wu before...

by effects that can be particles... blood... (lol... same thing as particles) beams... etc...
by power, I mean tremors that show impact by moving everything in the frame up 5 pixels... then in the next frame back to where it is... (see my signature for a tremor in the animation)

    Keep practicing!
Oh rite... a rating... medium beginner, but close to high beginner...

You are pretty good! u can ease and ur animation is not choppy!
That is always a good thing to never have choppyness like me XD.
I cant really rank u with only one animation so i will wait for more animations!
    Hope u continue animating!

You seem to understand easing very well, that is apparent
But at times it looks like there are 1 or 2 frames missing, it just looks off
And you might want to work on physics
    specific examples
    - in the animation 2nd from the top, when he lands he abruptly stops which doesn't seem to fit
    - in your newest animation, i think just around the last three frames his foot doesn't look smoothed, it seems to jerk into position
Other than that, it looks very good, keep it up =]

Well, the animations are definitely getting better!

But, you are stealing a style.
Someone has already done tons of animations with a stick he called "wu"
by saying you made your own wu, now you aren't stealing a stick... but you're stealing a style.
    What are you like?
Just think up your own style, I swear, it makes your animations look much better (and less noobish... no offence... its the truth...).

However, you are getting good at easing! keep it up!

    Punch Test:
You have some great animations there, not phenomenal just great, no scratch that just plain good. The punch test need work. First he has some very terrible foot placement. His legs are really stiff and at some points during the middle its shaky. The punch itself didn't have much power and you shouldn't try effects just yet. Overall animation rank, low to medium beginner.

    Fading Wu:
It was alright I mean I didn't see much improvement. The floating part was weird and odd and stiff. The fade itself wasn't that good, it was okay. You're getting better I guess.
    Overall rank animation, Low beginner.

    Jumping Wu:
Okay this animation has some smoothness to it, but not as much.
Such as when he begins to take off its very smooth, then dramatically jumps across very stiff and choppy like. It needs some realism when he rolls its very choppy and body and foot placement were off. Overall rank animation, low beginner.

Overall Rank as an animator, Low Beginner!
But don't worry heres a chart to see where you stand.
Low Beginner ---------------You are here-----Medium Beginner.

On the side note don't get all butt hurt from my opinionand what I thought horribly about your animations. Take it like a boy.
