    Re: Rank please...

Way too choppy; lesser spacing for the sticks between the frames, maybe?

Seems Low beginner, because of its choppiness,no real physics,or easing.Try Darren's Pivot Tutorial, tells you everything you need to know about animating.Like the idea of the animation, though, pretty well done,Courtesy? (Thread in Signature.)

    Good Luck in future animations.

    Tutorials.

Hello! I noticed your thread and I would to help you out. I would be willing to give you a few Pieces of advice and tutor you a bit too. I don't know if I can post my images and info in your thread, so I won't. Please PM me if interested in my offer. Here's an example of my work, so you know my animation skill. My old alias was Horriblepain, I did not steal any animations I post.

    Example: (unfinish sadlY :O)

Nice animations man. It's good how you add a sort of sense of humor to it. That sword animation was pretty good too, great smoothness. Firstly I suggest working on your spacing, it looks like you keep the same pace throughout the whole animation, which is bad. Different movements determine what spacing to do. For instance, for a run it would be fast, for a walk it would be slow, for a fight it would be fast and energetic, otherwise it looks like they are fighting lazily.
Stiffness is another key problem you have, try and get into the habit of moving each limb in each joint as much as they need to be, this is difficult to learn.
Keep it up, and good luck with future animations, you got potential.

I'd have to say you're a low-med beginner, you have some aspects down, and then the others suck. Work on easing and moving every part of the stk. every frame. it seems you have the right idea, but it needs to be smoothed out.
    Good job.
