    Realism.

Hey guys. I'm back after using flash for about 6 months . Got really into it and it's realism, so I thought I'd comeback and go at it with pivot and try to be like Crono.

    Realism Attempts:
A simple run focusing mainly on muscle control towards the end and the effect of inertia at the beginning.

Please comment giving me tips on how to improve.

Calling any stickfigure animation "realistic" is silly man. I think you're trying way too hard.

Think about it. They don't have hips, they don't have shoulders, they don't have any kind of visible joints. There's no perspective in Pivot, though it can be implemented.. just with difficulty. And it won't instantly make your animations lifelike.

I wouldn't go too crazy about the whole "realistic" deal. While you're animating stickmen, just focus on what looks GOOD. Not what seems to be 'right'.

    Just my opinion, mind.

Looked alright. The arms moved pretty awkwardly, and it isn't exactly what I'd call realistic. The back bent a bit far... Legs were pretty good. Keep trying.

I wouldn't really call anything in pivot "realistic". More of just physics being right. Basically just how they move looks like you can compare things to real life. Nothing can actually look really real in pivot. This is a good animation though. Nice easing and good physics. Hoping to see more.

    Hey man.
Pretty good animation, but it's kinda weird how he just runs two steps.
I think if he more eased into the running, going faster with each step,
rather than standing, running two steps, then stopping.
I mean, you did ease it at the end, but he needed a few slowing down
    steps before he stopped.

Hey.. it looked more like a powerful, fast walk, because he wasn´t in the air while the run.. also the hands were a bit to strong moved, it looks choppy, so don´t forget to ease... Make more realismtests, so we can say more about your skill-level..

    Re: Realism.

i agree with picto, it is too hard to make pivot look realistic. to me it looked jerky. The animation was good tho, realistic or not. i hope to see a longer animation. keep goin'.
