    Beginning Pivot :D

I know the smoothness and stiffness is a huge problem but my patience was running low with this.

You said it yourself. You need to work on smoothness and easing. I like your combat ideas though. Pretty cool stuff. Oh yeah, try not to link the animation to youtube. I also recommend Darren's tutorial. Here's the link:
    viewtopic.php?f=36&t=22662.

You can directly put it on darkdemon by saving the animation as a gif and then going to a site like pivotup.com. The choose the file/ gif and then click upload. A link should appear. Copy and paste it and then paste it on dd on your thread.

Oh... sorry 'bout that. Wait then why'd you post it? Couldn't you just have made a new animation. Ahh who cares.

I think stiffness and choppyness is your biggest problem, for examle sotim you move one limb or joint, try to move every joint in each frame, also no to jus maeposes and then move the stickman, make poses that transition into/make movments. also look out for foot placment.

    Re: First Fighting Pivot

Like you said, it was stiff, and could be very choppy at times. It was also very slow, or was this intended?

Try to get the basics down first, once you have them down, they will help a lot in your animations. Keep animating, and more importantly, keep practicing! As mentioned earlier, Darren's tutorial is very helpful, you should check it out!

    Curtz returned.

    Re: First Fighting Pivot

that was great moves, great effects =)
but you need to ease more when you are going to a new move or making a new move. easing looks a lot better when its used thoughout the whole piv.
