FULL failed DDBC4. All curtz returned.

So finally I dusted off my skills in pivot again. I even made a special comparison for you with new and old of my favorite type of animation.
    READ BEFORE POSTING.
do not make crappy comments or suggest I'd read darrens tut, I've read it a million times already, and my walking has improved dramatically, same with running. But it didn't fix all my problems so stop telling me to do it.

So sit back and relax, and watch stuff get blown the freak up.

    New stuff:
This WAS my ddbc4 but I lost the .piv and I accidently re-sized the .gif

Well, you need to ease more, get rid of some choppiness, and for the stick man, make him less stiff, but the explosions are good! Just keep animating, and show us what you can do!

Well the guy who's head blows off is really stiff. If you move EVERY joint in EVERY frame then it won't look stiff. Even if you move it just a little. It helps. Courtesy? That's where you comment on my thread because I commented on yours.

basicly what the guy above said , and for the lastest showcased explosion i think it dies out too fast , it should have had smoke residue left longer , so yeah keep it upp and youll get interz in no time

courtesy? (check my signature and click thread)

Your blood effects need work. When the guy's head explodes, blood doesn't fly strait into the air, you've got to bring into the fact that there's gravity. If the blood flies up, that's fine but you've got to ease it to a stop and make it begin to fall.

They're all a little choppy, but like everyone else says, just keep practicing. The explosion 2.0, and the newest one remind me of animations i've done in the past.

Man, that explosion 2.0 is really nice looking, however all your other animations aren't quite as good.

Newest One- The Blood could've been better, when he falls he should've had a small amount of "bounce" to his body, it's also very stiff and uneased, and the foot-placement isn't quite correct.

Explosion (Old)- I don't think it would be right to give negative comments on this one since it's apparently old, so I won't.

Also on the explosion 2.0, perhaps it would look even better if there was a ground tremor at the time of the explosion? Anyways, keep making more, I see you will be very good at effects as long as they stay at that quality, it is 10x better than any effect I could've made. Maybe try making a longer animation, or maybe joint with someone? Also be sure to check out the tutorial section if you already haven't.

Moving every stick a littble bit in every frame helps alot. Especially animating the movement of blood. I think i noticed in ur exploding head one that some blood sticks weren't moving, which can seriously hinder the quality of appearance of ur animation. On the other hand, i did like your exploding animations. Exploding is a piece of animation i've been shy to try out as i'm not sure of when to begin. If you could suggest a tutorial or along the lines, i'd appreciate it.
    Courtesy returned.
