Well i use only pivot... your animation (with pivot) in low beg... i suggest you to read the Darren's Tutorial... in Tutorial's section...

However if it's your first animation is good enough... you have to work on easing... on the movements and on effects

You shouldn't post flash animations here. This is the 'pivot' section. Therefor I will only rate your pivot animation.

Everything was stiffed. It didn't flow properly. This was BECAUSE it was stiff. If you are going to move a joint, move it every frame, and constantly, with easing. This helps with the flow. You completely lacked easing as you can see in the animation, this is what makes your animation look good and your movements look realistic. The spacing to ease goes something like this:

    I I I I I I I I I

Imagine each one of those 'I's' as a frame. Movements start off slow, speed up, and then slow down. For example, punch the air. This applies to real life as well. You start by (hopefully) taking your arm back and retracting it. This would be the first 3/4 frames. The next 3/4 frames would be the punching action in itself, and the last 3/4 frames would be the the arm after it has been contracted and retracted, slowly reverting to its original position. There are a lot of tutorials in the Pivot Tutorial section to help you, and they can explain it far better then I can.

Your animation is pretty stiff. Needs some easing, smoothing, and flow.
