    Re: Soviet's thread

Hey man, you got some true potential. I loved your effects as well. Although I did find a couple of things not to my liking. For example, the smoke should have had a couple more frames for when it fades out, and the light on the stick man should have been in front in my opinion. It would have added some detail. That is still really great though, great start. For your movements I think you should take some more frames as well, not necessarily to slow them down, but to make them flow a bit more. Also when you're animating a guy falling or something, think of someone falling in real life. This will help you out in physics.

Here's a tutorial that is very helpful to beginners. It discusses all the basics:

    Have fun.

    Heeeeey Soviet.

I see you have potiential (Like the guy above said). I really like your lighting test, but it doesn't loop very well. Other than that, that anim is smooth, well eased and has nice effects. I can't really say anything about it accept for make it longer please.

I look foward to seeing move anims from you. :P

    Courts?

EDIT: Actually, considering the stickman is shooting a gun which should have at least a tiny bit of recoil, the back, head and arms move but the legs don't. I suggest you make the stickman either get pushed back from the recoil OR make the legs wobble to show the lack of power on the gun.
