    tina's Animations

Hey ya'll, I'm tinakhal...tina for short. I'm a total newbie at all this stuff. I know I have a LOT to learn. Rate me if you want, comments, criticism, how I can improve, yada yada blah blah blah.

Use The Force + Tremor Test <-- so far, my favorite, rate me on this one please!

    Weird Random Movements Test
Okay, first off, it's not suppose to be a kick. It's just a stick figure swinging his leg back and forth. And, i have no clue what the bending is at the end. I guess you could say its him stretching or bowing.

    Running Test 2
Okay, I think its better than the first running test. But, I am failing at making the arms cross over each other.

    Running Test
IDK, i was too lazy to do the starting pose, so I just made it fade/teleport into the animation.

    Yet Another Easing Test
(I know its super fast, ignore that.)

My First Smooth Animation! [Easing Test]

First real try on Easing things:

    Jedi Battle, Part 1:
I was trying easing, but I don't think I did a good job. I also tried fading, and I do think I did a good job on that. As for the bases, I'll try to make some new ones in my free time.

    extremely choppy. sorry!
You should ease & space more, use a ground and have your own base.
if you don't get what easing & spacing is, check out darren's tut (it's stickied in the tutorial section).
if that's your second day of pivot, gotta say, not bad! (I sucked like hell the firts half year :/ )
    keep practicing, and improve!
    keep it up

    Re: tina's Animations

You forgot to put the jedi animation in the code

But I can tell that you should just keep animating, maybe watch some other animations to get an idea of how to space your movements

    Re: tina's Animations

    really choppy work dude. sorry
You should save them as gif with theese options
    Merge: off Frame delay 6
    Crop: on Shrink frames 1/2
    Paletten

And now to all the other things. It seems like you have the same problem as any other newcommer.
You see your making 1 frame in like 5-10 seconds,
anyone from High beg uses atleast: 1 minute per frame x amount of stickmen.
animating with pivot takes a lot of patience and time.
You should never have a frame with no movement in one guy or the other, when they are in midle of a lightsaber fight.
Also you should keep the red dot in the leg in the same spot when weight is aplied to the leg.
And no move should be complited in one frame.

    And something about the easing:
I think your over this but just for clarity:
    This is no go [spoiler:1x8g9uhj][/spoiler:1x8g9uhj]

    Instead you to thiss:[spoiler:1x8g9uhj][/spoiler:1x8g9uhj]
Piv download if you wish. http://yourimg.in/j/uzik1m.piv

Hope this helps you at all and your next animation is a bit better :P

    Re: tina's Animations

Here's some things you can work on..
    1. Changing ur FPS too 20 - 22 (This will make things ALOT less choppy.)
    2. Ur need to work on smoothing things out, (ll-l--l---l----l---l--l-ll)
Once u get that down, u'll move up quickly with more, and more practice.
unfortunately right now, ur below begginer.
    Keep practicing!

    Re: tina's Animations

Your animations are choppy and need more easing, but it's a good start.
