    Coyote: Combo! Apr 10

[center:ecuvp4cu]Hello, I am Hunter, a 16-year old animator from Kirkwall, Scotland. I seek to gain help from the animators and members of this forum, as I am currently developing my skills as an animator.
Leave some constructive criticism if possible, and don't forget to give a rank as well

    Re: iSlave's Thread - #1: Running Test

It is good for your first animation, but you are going to have to work on making your movements smoother because at the moment they are a little bit stiff. Other than that you seem to be a good animator. Keep at it.

I like the tripod test, the movements are really good, but the movements on the flow test were abit fast, slow down these movements and you will be amazing.

I agree you need to work on some of your easing and the speed of the movements and you will have it down. I think you should do some more with your animations to show how good you are, but I'd say you are about high beginner.

    Thanks Snuggles for the Sig

    Re: iSlave's Thread - #3: Tripod Test

I reckon people have just gotten into the habit of chucking "need more easing" onto the back of everything. I thought the easing is fine. These three are obviously not his first animations, and he knows what he's doing. I personally like the heavy spaced style, but lots of people are going to complain. Lower the spacing between each movement so that each move is more defined.

You're doing well and I expect to see you move up the ranks pretty fast. Watch your physics though. A general tip on falling items is that items drop twice the distance from the frame before. If in the first frame the stick drops one pixel, drop it two the next, then four, and so on. You'll have to change it for certain objects, but it always helps to show me how fast things fall.
