Your original style was better. In my opinion, you can't just decide to change your style in one day based on another animator. Instead, it develops naturally until you can comfortably be consistent with it. The placements were good but they lacked a few vital frames, especially near the end. I would understand if this was just a one time attempt at Crono's style, but it's not for everyone and I think you should stick with your own.
I have done many crono styled animations, so I guess i shouldn't call it a change.
But i am having a lot of fun animating like this, so that is what I will do.
pyro mecha is right you should stick with your old style rather then attempt to inhareit crono's styleOriginally Posted by Pyro Mecha
I think the animation was too fast and the arms during the run were far too quick and appeared as if they never moved the last frame stopped to abrupt and the leg seemed to have drifted in the end a bit.
overall its alright
It was pretty good, but as nthe others said, develop your own style instead of ripping another one's and then subtily changing it. I was expecting you to keep that smooth combo's style. Actually hoping for you to do so.

It was very smooth, so kudos on that. The only flaw I could really see, was when he hit the floor it looked a bit stiff, but you did pretty fine overall.
I'd say you're close to the Intermediate movements, show some variation of your skills and you'll get moved up rapidly.
Thanks for the comments, although my style hasn't really changed very much at all.
If anything, my smooth combo is the worst showcase of my style.
