    Helm's Animations (8/11/11 11:41 EST)

I used to animate about a year ago, and I'm still breaking off the rust...

    Inventing the Hoverboard:

    Trail Test

    Killing + Weapon Test
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    Running Test 2:
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    Physics Test
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

Between an Unstoppable Force and an Immovable Object
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

Running Tests (everyone has to fail at this sometime)
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    Weapon Test
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    Looping + Tripod Test
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    Easing Test
    [spoiler:fodzcdqj][/spoiler:fodzcdqj]

    More to come...

    Please leave feedback

    Re: Helm's Animations

You know how easing works pretty well and it was really just a test so who cares, but if you wanted to improve you could make it much less stiff. If you just wanted to do another test or something I'd try physics, something to do with gravity, because it doesn't look like that was really acknowledged in the animation lol. Not much to say but I'd like to see more.

Your animations are nice and pretty much smooth. You don't have really much stuff to judge for now, but your weapon test is smooth but you must work on foot placement, because the foot is sliding around the place. But yeah, you don't have any "serious" animation just yet. Improve, improve, improve! Read Darren's Tutorial if you haven't yet, that will give a +1 to your skills.

Low-med or Med Beginner for now .

Thanks for the tips, I will try out the stuff in the tutorial.

Could you please explain ""serious" animations" to me?

EDIT: I looked up the tutorial and made an actual running test and walking test. Thanks again!

Updated, and I am doing a lot more tests that I'm not posting because I counted them as failing...

I am also brainstorming ideas for a longer animation...

I just felt like I needed to bump this because I'm not getting much feedback, and I would like to know what to work on.

Sorry for the long reply, but in simpleness it is a long-enough animation to judge your pivoting skill. Yours were just tests the time I went to CC.

You got pretty much potential. I'd say Med-Beginner for the Hoverboard animation, I like the ideas and such.
    Do longer animations, please.
