    Re: FreshWafflez's Animation Thread

The run loop was really nice and smooth and i think alot of work has been put into it.

This is the kind of thing begginers ( like me ) forget

Stiffness, now before i get into action lets explain how to get a clean animation without a (not moving) red dot ( joint )
    How to fix stiffiness

Simply move every joint each frame to make a cleaner animation instead of a stuck stickman
i noticed the head is stiff the back joint is stiff and the one near the back joint but the run loop was nice!

just move each joint per frame or itt'l look like this crap

    http://www.truploader.com/uploads/3_17_ ... sstext.gif

its really stiff!!! and terrible theres everything wrong with it lol i noticed you would rather move your arms and legs not the head and the upper joints and all.... it makes it look messy and isnt sprayed with bang and the dirt is gone

heres what it should look like!

well my animation couldve had the back joint be bent forward instead of backwards to make it look more intense.
Also the back leg seems to be stopped at that certain point then dragged along that, it needs to break free.

yeah blame me for my laziness

Thank You! It Really Helped. I didnt really look at how non- realistic it looked at first. Now I feel more confident. Thank You Puddin :3 I edited my thread/post thingy and, posted another running loop. It looks better. I hope you agree its better.

I hope you may be more of service in the future.

    Re: FreshWafflez's Animation Thread

The Vital frame( when the legs cross over) is to fast slow it down abit apply 2-3 frames on the vital not 1 that's not very nice teh vital framez most precious!!! my precious (smeagol)

so basically without stiffness just add more frames to the crossover frame when the two legs cross looks like....

For now Meeeeeeeddd..... no low beg if you just add more frames then itt'l be med beg

I added two-three frames and, it doesnt look that pleasent. It looks like he's swift and, quick at the beggining but, then super slow in the middle then fast at the end.

    Re: FreshWafflez's Animation Thread

Ok... it depends on your run loop first its a fast run loop i dont like fast

    and i dont like loops

i like start OF SLOW FOR 2 FRAMES and go! not a loop... loop's apply laziness for starters lol

the reason why you didnt get a very pleasant animation is the fact that in the 1-2 frames you must move the leg joints still not keep it in the same place and thats why it looks ( stop ) when it reaches the vital frame... remember to have your favourite moment in the vital frame i love vital frames so smooth!!! I just waaaana kiss em!!!! oh Dam* where he go??

Anyway.... basically in your vital frame crossover just move your two legs (the left leg moves back slightly and the right leg crosses over and apply 1-2 extra frames do not make the right joint stiff
and not moving still in the two frames added apply like l----l per frame xd... i only ease once in my animations to make it clean ( im stupid ) lol

im still a beginner wondering why my animations are uhhh terrible.... *THERE YOU ARE MR VITAL KITTY YOU COMEZ HERE FOR HUGZ!!!!* Kitty: The Vital What?? oh wait my picture at my house which i drew!!!

    AAAHHAHA enough with the comedy!

    Hey.
Well, it was pretty good. It's just a run loop doesn't really show any skill though. Try doing other movements animating run loops won't get you anywhere if you want to improve. Anyway, the loop's were great I suppose. I don't like how you kept the origin in one place, try moving the center a little. That's all I can tell you for now since again it's just a run loop.

Remember if you update I'll be here to comment I have my eye on this thread. (:
If I miss your update please PM me, and I'll gladly comment on your thread once again.

it was cool man. the foot was well animated and properly eased. the back was kinda stiff though. loosen up a bit there. overall, EXCELLENT.

May I also invite you to the Darkdemon Underdogs Joint? a joint designed for low beginners or probably all kinds of beginners. Hurry up, though. I think there's only one last spot for you.

    Re: FreshWafflez's Animation Thread

There was/is lack of correct easing and flow. Just give me the .piv so I can fix it and show you, because to explain it would take too long. Upload the .piv via Mediafire.

Another thing, don't listen to everyone's CNC, because if a low-beginner teaches a low-beginner, that's like the blind leading the blind. And they both fall into a pit.

So I'm not saying don't take CNC, just listen to the general opinion of higher ranks first. Posting in the beginner chat: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=89483&start=825 should get you some CNC, quickly, and a lot of it.

So, that's pretty much it for now. Make something longer, and I'll be able to drop some actual CNC by.
