Crylancelo: Almost Inters...?- UPDATED [1/29/2013] Blood!

Hey guys, I'm Crylancelo. I used to animate quite a bit a couple years back but I quit once I went off to college because I didn't have much free time anymore. Anyways, my interest has been rekindled so I'm learning all over again.

Here's what I made first time opening pivot again.

    NEWEST!
Pretending I know how to animate this blood business.... Also different angles!

Not my .stk by the way for the last one. I don't remember who made it exactly but I found it on here, so credit to them for the .stk. All sticks besides the one in the oldest animation are made by me.

I'll definitely keep this updated as I make more!

    Re: Crylancelo's Animations

The only problems i see with the animation is that the character repels off the wall very quickly then makes a very sudden stop instead of easing more through the air. I'm not very familiar with the "jumpy" style of animation but I think it looks good.

    Re: Crylancelo's Animations

It does look good, but still it's very stop'n'goish, meaning that you slow down the easing then suddenly speed it up a lot, then stop it again then speed it up...That disrupts your easing that should look like this:
    /-/--/----/--------/----------/------/---/--/-/
    And this is yours:
    /-/------/-----------/--/----------/------/--/-------/--/
Try to fix that kay?And make some anims with more movements in them.
    Courtz?

That was fucking fast man, I like your stop and goish style, especially the flips.

Updated with something new! Tried out having some stretching limbs. The wall particles were added as an afterthought since he hit it the first time and flew through it the second time. So I figured that it wouldn't make much sense without some kind of breakage or something.

    Re: Crylancelo's Animations- UPDATED [1/28/2013]

If there is a delete function for posts, my bad, I couldn't find it :/ Ortherwise I would have just copied the last post and deleted it to bump this. Anyways, I made something new

So here it is! I may continue it later when I get a break from studying and add someone getting hit by the arrow and try out animating some blood effects. No promises though as I might just move on to something else lol.

Really good. But you have little stiffness. You should study Smoothness, Easing and little effects. You developed animations. Continue like this.

Made a new .stk type that might help the back of my sticks look less stiff because it has an extra joint compared to the old stick I've been using. I'll make something with it when I get a break from my school work later tonight.
