Taking it one at a time.

Quite often, I start an animation, only to get a better idea for an animation a few days later. This starts a never-ending cycle of unfinished animations that usually would've had alot of potential had I finished it.

But, I just cant bring myself to finish most of them.

    Anyone else have this problem?
PS: Just as often, I'll grow to hate an animation I'm working on, even though its awesome, simply because I didn't like it.

No Lewk, that's Animator's not enough block. I always realize my current idea is shit and I want to make a new one. Except, compared to you, I finish absolutely nothing.

Re: Taking it one at a time.

Oh my gosh, don't get me started.
I make an animation, and have the whole idea planned out in my head.
And then, I think of something else to do instead of my previous idea. Then I do that instead, and my animation goes bad.
Then some other time, I stick with my first idea the whole time and it goes well.
It usually only goes bad, when you make a big change, not big BIG, but kinda big, like first he would run and punch, but then you think of having him run flip then punch, stuff like that (It might go bad), but If he was going to kickflip and land, but then you hace him kickflip and fall, then that wouldn't ruin it most of the time.
    Did that help?
    Edit:Oh, UNFINISHED? I didn't see that.
But it's still it's kind of the same, that happens, too. Sometimes that happens, because you take too long to unfinish it, and then you get bored with it.

Happens to me frequently, it may be due to i grow to hate after watching it 200x over to get things right or i just become bored and think of an even better idea.
