I use 18. Most people use around 17-20.

20 fps is the best to use. It really depends how you animate, some people use 16-18 fps, which imo is too slow. I use 20-24, for a beginner like you I suggest using 18-20.

    Re: A big question?

The fps depends on the type of animation.

If you have a fast-paced action ani, you might want something higher than 17.

If you're making a slow lawlish ani, you might want something lower than 20.

    It depends.

    Re: A big question?

Well the faster/smaller movements it has the smoother but I usually use from default pivot 2 speed to the one that is obviously 1 step faster (around 24 or something)

Always try to use the highest frame rate possible while still having your animation look good.
