    Re: so how long....

For me, I mainly do short-ish animations and sometimes I can get a good quality animation out in one day. But if I'm actually working on it to have a very good animation that has some length to it, about 4-5 days

I don't usually make more than 10-20 frames a day if it's a detailed animation. Something without a bg or anything though, I can make anywhere from 75-150.

It pretty much depends on the detail, story line, and my motivation. Sometimes i can make a basic animation in one or two days. And I can make detailed animations within a week or up to a few months.

It depends on the animation. I have a lot of short anis so I would say about 30 minutes.

GENERALLY, my style is fast paced so I don't need to spend so much times.

but if I guessed maybe 10-20 minutes

    Re: so how long....

For some reason I always "rush" on my animations because I always want it to be finished within a day. So if I spend time probably around 4-5 days.

I try to animate as much as possible in one sitting because I dont get a whole lot of time to animate.. So usually it takes 1 hour to get a good animation done

    Re: so how long....

I am an incredibly slow animator. My good animations usually take me 3-6 months, and I only get about 3-10 frames done a day, only because I hate sitting down for so long. I really wish I was as fast as you guys.
