    What music do you animate to?

    I always play music as I animate and it usually varies depending on the animation for instance I will listen to hard/fast rocky kinda music when i'm animating something along the lines of fast paced. And I was wondering what you guys play to keep you inspired while animating?

    Led Zeppelin mostly, sometimes Pink Floyd and a little of Hotline Miami. Sometimes I listen to Deltron 3030 to psych myself up.

    The sweet sounds of Nice Pants and Yogurts and Kellawgs voices.

    Lately Coldplay's new album has been working well for doing stuff like animating. Don't know why, might be as simple as the vocals are in the range I can manage, so I sort of subconsciously sing along and yeah.

    I rarely listen to music, even when I'm not animating.

    Smooth and calm music like Dub, Liquid Drum&Bass, Downtempo, 2-Step, like the Gorillaz or YouTube promorion uploads from Liquicity/MrSuicideSheep/17tumba for smooth and slow animations;

    Fast and energetic music like classical Rock, for example The White Stripes, Dubstep and Solid Drum&Bass for fast animations.

    I have listened to White Stripes while animating my Rushed 4 piece, it turned out pretty powerful, when I am animation smooth stuff like 'Soothing' I made a while ago, I listen to tranquil music.

    Music is generally an important part for me while animating, it's my inspiration and my motivation.

    Usually just any Hardstyle, FeintDnB or Deadmau5 is what I listen to while animating.

    Dibstep, liquid dnb, and brass.

    Not at the same time.

    Edit: Ha, dibstep. Best typo ever.

    Usually softer style genres or instrumentals such as Shoegaze, ambient, post-rock, idm, etc.
