    Backrounds

Hello, um.... this might not be the place to post this, or i'm probably being a noob by not knowing this, but...

You know when you make a backround for a pivot, like this one...
(I got this off the internet so dont ask me if you can have it)

Well, you know if you want to be able to move the backround, so you load the image as a sprite instead of a backround, and then you load the stick you want and when you move the stick and click 'next frame' and then move the stick again... there's no shadow from the stick, so you can't tell how far to move the stick, or if his footwork is right.

what i'm asking is, how can you make a shadow appear even when the backround is a sprite.
    Please help me out!

The shadow must be in the front ,behind the stick with the shadow

well tbh sometime you don't need the "shadow" (it's technically called the onion skin) But are you using pivot 4?

Yes, I do use pivot 4, and if I don't need the shadow, then can you tell me another way around the problem?

It all depends on how big the Sprite is. If that was the sprite, the brown part would cover up the onionskin I believe.

if you were to have your pivot screen size at, let's say... 200 x 200 pixels
    And then made a backround 250 x 250, that's how big i'm on about
