    Transparent pivot

    Does anyone know how to make your animations with a white background transparent on the dd page? Like nice pants did a few days ago in the freestyle thread. Please someone tell, coz I'm trying to do something cool on a dd page.

    I think you need a video editing program, I'm not sure. :/

    You can also use an image manipulation program (GIMP, Photoshop etc) to make the backgrounds transparent. Or you can just make the background colour in the animation the same colour as the DD page.

    Feel free to add me, just let me know who you are.

    Re: Transparent pivot

    I used to use gifworks.com for this but apparently the website has changed lately. Anyway, this online image editor does the same trick: http://www.online-image-editor.com/index.cfm
    You upload the animation there (in gif form of course) and add transparency to the color you want. Then you save it and upload it again

    I found a solution using fireworks..

    1. save animation as gif with white background
    2. load image with fireworks
    3 save the file
    FIle->save as ->options
    -> animated gif -> choose index transparency and set it to white or the color of background then save the file
