    Smoothness / Easing tutorial.

I know this kind of tutorial has been done before, but i noticed some of the links didn't work and were broken, so here is an up to date and newer easing tutorial

This is to help the less experianced members of pivot, and maybe help a few others aswell.
This is a technique called lots of things, smoothing, easing, spacing etc.
But i will refer to it as easing.

    What is it?
Easing is a way of making your animations smooth. You use it for everything.

Why do i need to ease?
Because without easing, your animations will be choppy, and with choppyness, you will be called a n00b, and no one wants that.

Okay, cut to the chase, how do i do it ?

XD, well, first think of what you wanna animate. It is a must that you know what you are gonna animate, so you can space it accordingly.

Here is an example not using easing.

Here the aniamtion is choppy. This is because it is animated not using easing.
    It is spaced like this.

    That is wrong.

Here is an example using easing.

    See how it is smoother.
Well, it is spaced like this.

That is the way to do it.

I hope you learned something, and enjoyed reading the tutorial.

This tut has been done before but yours stands out much more

becuase you actually give a pictorial references with the moves instead of just saying

    dn't mooove leik dis
    [--][--][--][--][--][--][--]

    mooove leik dis!
    [-][-][--][---][---][--][-][-]

    So excellent job

The easing didn't work out that well, it started to fast and ended a little too fast. But the basic and explanation is good.

Haha not bad. But of course we already have LF2's input on this one, so I'm afraid it won't be making the master list. >.>

It helps, but it doesn't really help with other things like fighting and flying etc. If you did more examples t'would be a lot better.

that one shows it to another degree, higher than lf2's.

And "-.-" it helps with fighting if you apply it with every movement.
