    Reactions (UPDATED - High - Mid punches/kicks)

Hi! I have not completed this guide yet, But I wanted to start it. I can explain it right now, I just do not have all of the animations made yet.

    Who? Me
What? I will teach you what happens to a stick figure after it gets punched/kicked in a certain area on his body
When? Now confused_) . But I am not finished with the guide yet
    where? Where do you think?
Why? Because I see wrong movements in peoples animations

This is what I see wrong:
A stickman gets thrown up in the air after being punched in the stomach.
A stickman's head goes back as if it were hit in the head, when in the animation, he was hit in the stomach.
A stickman falls forward like in Tekken when the finishing move is powerful.

(I will make animations on these bad examples)

    Types of punches and kicks
    High punch (in the face)
    Mid punch (in the stomach)
    Low punch (lol...ow wa_)( )
    High kick (in the face)
Mid kick (in the stomach or the wa_)( )
    Low kick (in the legs)
    Uppercut punch to the face

There are many more punches and kicks than the ones stated above, But I will only be going over the basic ones.

Before you read this, not that this only works for sticks with multiple joints on the back. 2 is required, But I think 3 is recommended.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE: (coming soon)

This is how a stickman should react to a high punch or high kick
    - The head moves the most during this movement. It moves several pixels backwards
    - the upper torso (chest) moves the second most. It moves a some pixels backwards
    - The mid torso (below the chest, above the stomach) moves the third most. It moves a few pixels backwards
    - And the lower torso (below the stomach, or the stomach itself) moves the least. It movesvery little pixels backwards
    - the body is angled like this: /
***NOTE: The harder the punch is, the more the stickman moves. You determine how hard it will be***
See how the face moved back more since the kick was supposedly harder? The harder the attack, the more force will be put in.

This is how a stickman should react to a mid punch or high kick
    - The mid torso moves backwards the most
    - the stomach moves backwards the second most
    - the chest moves forward
    - the head moves the more forward than the chest
    - The body is shaped like this: >

This i how a stickman should react to a low punch (in the nuts *:+ (shoked_) wa_)( confused_)
    (Coming soon)
    COMING SOON

Sorry for choppiness, but I can't put time into these because I have to work on other animation projects, I have homework, I have a girlfriend, and I have to babysit my 3 year old brother too. Dont even make me mention sports and breakdancing...

you sadi that the lower you go on punches ,the less they move , that isnt correct , you could do a light jab to the face the a full bodied punch into the abdomen , and make em actually move of of there feet.

You can add this, When a stickman receives a low punch/kick, there body forms this: \ Low punches/kicks are usually hard, to make it look better, have the ground, and all the other objects on the screen, go up, and down

THe animations are beginner quality, and don't really show that much. Read trhe rules of the tutorials section.

I suggest you make tutorials when your inter or vet because theres no point in trying to teach someone something your not very good at.
