    Bicycle Kick

Today you will learn how to animate a bicycle kick.

    • The starting stance should be mostly straight.

Then start to move the body backwards while making him lean back at the same time.

Make the arm go up to gain momentum to bring his body around. And getting his arm in position to slow his fall later on.

Continue leaning back and moving back, only in increasing intensity.

Now you start moving the first leg up.

Keep moving the first leg up, getting faster each frame.

Now the second leg should start going for the kick. But don't forget about all the other movements.

At this point you should start slowing down the first leg. While still bringing up the second leg.

Start moving the body down a little about now.

Just keep up the other movements.

Now you start straightening out the first leg. And the second leg should be entering it's peak about now.

Right now when the second leg is at the peak is the prime time to make contact with the ball.

He should be hitting the ground about now and his legs should continue moving forward, because of their momentum.

Absorb the fall with the back and the arms.

And continue to absorb the fall with the back. And continue to let the legs swing forward, and the rest is up to you. You can make him spring back up to his feet, curmple up, or swing his legs the rest of the way over his head and make him stand up. It's really up to you.

This is what it should look like.

      And the piv for everybody.
      Piv.

Well I hope that this tut was helpful.
And even if it wasn't helpful, at least it is original, there haven't been any other tuts on bicycle kicks.
      Well, enjoy.

Well you get 1 point for being honest. Is there some reason you didn't like it or just didn't like it in general?

    P. S. Yes, I like the star wars cartoons.

Yeah, I know some times some things just don't look right but you can't point out why.

Nice tutorial and good idea, but like the others the movement was off.
    My reasons =
    Too slow
    Very Slow physics
    No power

    But great explained, good job
