The Easy way to make backgrounds BUT with an onion skin.

I dont know if tis has been posted before but its an easy way to make a background (say a sky) and still have an onionskin.

I Just messed around with pivot and i got this idea, so i thought i would test it further.

    I made this:

it looks like ive used a single solid stick as the background but i havent, ive used the fader grid stick and you still get an onionskin.

    Example:

    See, magic!

Give it a shot for yourself, sorry if you dont understand how ive wrote it, just say and ill re-write when i have time.

This only works if you shrink the frames by 1/2, right?
because it has 1 pixel squares and such. but good tut man.

I never actually thought of that. You don't need to edit all the frames after but the only problem is you can only get a small amount of the onionskin shown.

Yeah, I never thought sf that, but I always like watching my animations with the piv. And it'd look funny like that, but still an interesting idea.

Jon just made transparency, this is a use with transparency.

And gameslave, you can actually change the colour in this case... with ms paint it's permanent.
