    Surreals Pivot tutorial [BEWARE 56K'RS]

Hi guys, this is my first tutorial i ever did. i think it should help for people not as experienced in pivot

    Smooth Movements
To make smooth movements, you need to use alot of frames for each movement, but not too much, or it will be to slow.

    To fast

    To slow

    Just right [11 frames]

To get this, if you are making a guy move his arm like that, it should be about 11 frames.
anything higher than that is to slow and anything lower than that is probably to fast.

    Walking
To achieve a good walking speed, it shouldnt be too fast (unless he is running) or
to slow (unless he is supposed to be)

    Too fast -

Too slow (yes, this is smooth, but its not like someone would walk in real life)

    Just right

To get a good walk, try and make the arms move in conjunction with the feet.
    Example of a good walk:

    Stances
    Good stances:

    Bad stances:

This part pretty much explains itself. dont place your stickman like the stickmen in Bad stances and place them like the onces in good stances.

    Fighting [Attacks]

Okay, this is more complicated stuff. this will show you what a bad/good punch/kick is

    Good punch

    Ok punch
[NOTE THIS IS THE EXACT SAME MOVEMENT AS THE GOOD PUNCH]

    Bad punch

To get a good punch, your guy has to move all of his body and fold his arm up, so that the upper arm and the lower arm are completely overlapping. then, you flip that so that the upper and lower arm are on the other side of the stickmans body, then, you launch the lower arm out so that it isnt overlapping anymore
The only thing wrong with the "Ok" punch is that it doesnt use every part of the body (no walking, no torso or head movement)|

Good kick [Clip from Littleman vs Bigman]

    Bad kick

Also, with kicks you usually have to use most of the stickmans body to have a even "OK" kick. the better of the kicks usually have some sort of jumping technique in them, but they dont have to. the bad kick shows an example of someone not using any of the body except for the lower and upper leg.

    Blood

    Good blood

Meh, blood (its okay but i dont use it anymore)

for good blood, you start with one long stick and then make a whole bunch of smaller ones and place them where you had the big one
