Foot Placement Guide (ALL BEGINNERS READ)

I see that foot placement is also another major problem that beginners have.

So here is a great way to use especially if you don't have an onionskin due to a background.

You can even use this when you don't have a background. It is just there to make sure the feet are always in the same place. So instead of trying to place the foot correctly on the onion skin, you can just place the foot on the corresponding mark/marker/footmark/onionskin dot that I will show you how to use.

I even use this when I don't have a background because I am too lazy to squint and see if the foot is directly on it's onionskin. It makes things much easier, saves time, and keeps your animations lookin pro like me.

So if you don't understand the steps in the picture here, I made this for you

    1. Click on File, then click on "Create Figure Type"
    2. Just set the thickness all the way to 0, and then click on static. This will make it so it won't be seen and it won't have that extra red dot stickin out
    3. Make a name for it so you know what it is
    4. Place it directly on the feet/heel. And press the "back" button so that you won't accidentally move the marker when you are moving the stickman. If you didn't know, the back button makes the highlighted figure move behind all the other sticks.
    5. Click next frame
    6. Now move the stickman the way you want it, and use the foot markers to remember where the foot goes.

    Tips when using the marker:

    - If your stickman has feet, feel free to use 2 markers for each foot. Usually, I just place the marker at the heel. And if the heel needs to move up, I move the marker over to the toe
    - I forgot to mention in the guide to press the "back" button when you have the mark highlighted. This will prevent you from accidentally moving the mark from it's original position
    - If you happen to move the mark by accident, and you've moved mostly everything in the frame, then this is what you should do next time: Move one stick figure, press next frame, click on the frame at the top, move the next figure, next frame, etc. This is like saving a game, or a check point. so if you mess up, you can start over without having to actually start everything over again.

Shut up. :P Not bad, but I think it could have been explained a bit better.

woot. I'm glad I could help.

And nev, so like, are you going to give beginers in the entrance hall this link?

    If so, w00t

I stated this in my tips section before.

And I thought that I was the first one who made it up....but then I found out other people did it too...

It's the same as jokes...like you say a joke and someone says "you copied taht off that one show"

    "No I made it up"
    "liar. u copier"

Don't you get in this situation all the time?

Well, I"m gonna start trying to use that, lol...

And perhaps it will make master, because this is the first one of these I've really seen (Other than in the tips section there)

Hopefully this will help some people out!
