    Clown's Particle Tutorial

    WELCOME

    Part 1: Explanations and Examples

Part 2: How to put into your animations

Part 3: Blood particles or cartoon blood

First of all, let me explain what this is all about:

To make a more realistic animation, animators use rubble as a way of showing of their skills with particles, and i'm going to show you how to make simple objects work as complex particles.

First of all, this is one example, i used this in a pivot war against skpixel:

    IMAGE

As you see, the particles I used were very simple, but worked out anyway, I'll show you how to work it and why.

Particles used in this animation are just balls, but it looks good, mainly because you have to get the concept of that:

Larger particles are pushed behind the applied force, as most of the applied force is pushed outward, or backward.

Smaller particls are pushed in front of the applied force.

    PART 2:

As the force expands, so do the partcles, larger particles are push in a more foreward direction, smaller ones are pushed in a more slanted direction

    IMAGE

Ok, maybe that wasn't the best, but it was two particles, here, i will add several more particles and maybe a guy running across the screen

    IMAGE

    PART 3:

If your looking for blood particles , this is it, first of all, let me show a simple example of blood using simple particles

    IMAGE

Again, i'm using simple particles for a decent piece, let me show you how it works...

First of all, in the beggining you want to ease the blood out very slowly, but gradually get's faster, but only for a second, then i eases back out.

here, in this example, this is not how it should look

    IMAGE

Looks crap doesn't it? Well that's mainly because I was at a constant velocity and never decellerated (Slowed down)...

SO, IF THIS HELPED IN ANYWAY, PLEASE TELL ME, AND, OF COURSE, I HOPE THIS HELPS!

Pretty good man, you should do a part 3 about thick particles and small particles and when to use each. Then you win. good job

In this, the spacing on the larger particle isn't done right. More particles should have really been used, but nice try. I like to see that you're trying to help.

Nice to see some contribution, and good original tut. You should continue with other particle ideas, like blood for example.

nice tut, good idea for ground particles, but why not try water particles and how they would react in different situations

if you want, feel free to pm me with any help you may need, i'll gladly help, as particles are rather fun to play around with,

look at my ddc6 for my take on water particles.
